Thank you for supporting our programs! PEAS underwrites a portion of the program fees for more than 90% of schools we work with. Because we work primarily with schools that have a high number of families experiencing economic hardship, there is a significant gap in our funding each year.   Your direct donations help us fill this gap. We know that by providing schools extra, in-person, support for taking learning outside and in kitchens, kids will get an enriched learning experience!

By donating to PEAS (Partners for Education, Agriculture, and Sustainability), you’re ensuring kids and communities are cultivating joyful connections with the natural world through innovative outdoor learning and edible education.

What began in 2011 as a school and community farm project has blossomed into a nonprofit that has reached over 30,000 students and thousands of adult participants. This year our work has us partnering with 25 schools DURING the school day to deliver over 3,000 students direct programming throughout the school year. Our dedicated Outdoor and Edible Education Specialists partner with teachers to lead engaging lessons in school gardens, outdoor classrooms, and pop-up kitchens to bring academic and social-emotional learning to life.

Beyond our partner schools, PEAS offers summer camps, stewards a community farm, and supports educators with professional development, consulting, and innovative teaching tools like The Easy PEASy Guidebook for Place-Based Outdoor Learning and our Digital Lessons, designed to help teachers nation-wide confidently take
